Q.   How do I know my money will be used for the purposes for which I donated?
A.  All donations made for a specific project are channelled to that project. If the generosity of donors is such that a surplus of funds are raised for a specific project, then funds will be reallocated to a project of either exact or similar nature in say a different district. In the event that such a project is not currently available, and is unlikely to be available for more than six months, then the committee will re-evaluate and allocate funds to another project need that is current. Details of donations re-assigned will be posted on this website for a period of two months. After that time if no objections are received then the funds will be re-allocated to a current needy project.

Q.   Are the members of the committee volunteers or do they get paid from donations raised?
A.   All committee members are volunteers and provide their time free of charge to HELP Sri Lanka Inc..

Q.   How will I know about HELP's fundraising events and opportunities so I may get involved or  participate?

A.   Sign up as a member and you'll receive notification of events and activities. You can also ask to be added  to HELP's e-mail Alternatively log into the website on a regular basis and go to the events calendar to check details of the latest events.
